vid2scene is winding down
Some bittersweet news to share. vid2scene is winding down its web operations as the team moves on to a new chapter. The good news: the entire codebase is being open-sourced on GitHub, so the work won't disappear and you'll be able to run it locally. The code is released under the Apache 2.0 license so anyone can use and modify it however they want — check it out at github.com/samuelm2/vid2scene.
What this means:
- vid2scene will cease website operations on June 13. If you've generated scenes you'd like to keep, please make sure to download them before then!
- If you have an existing pro subscription, you'll be refunded for this current month.
Thanks to everyone who tried vid2scene, gave feedback, and showed up. Thousands of users have generated thousands of scenes with vid2scene, and it's been incredible to see. It's been great to connect with so many people and learn about so many cool use cases for this tech.
