vid2scene has closed
vid2scene has closed its web operations as the team moves on to a new chapter. The good news: the entire codebase is open source on GitHub, so the work hasn't disappeared and you can run it locally. The code is released under the Apache 2.0 license so anyone can use and modify it however they want — check it out at github.com/samuelm2/vid2scene. If you've found it useful, please consider giving it a star on GitHub!
What this means:
- vid2scene ceased website operations on June 13. Scene downloads are no longer available through the site, but you can run everything locally from the open-source code above.
- If you had an existing pro subscription, you've been refunded for the final month.
Thanks to everyone who tried vid2scene, gave feedback, and showed up. Thousands of users have generated thousands of scenes with vid2scene, and it's been incredible to see. It's been great to connect with so many people and learn about so many cool use cases for this tech.
